Kinder Farm Park offers the unique opportunity to work in an early to mid-twenty century sawmill, blacksmith shop, and woodshop. The woodshop does projects to benefit the Friends of Kinder Farm Park and the Kinder 4 H Livestock Club. Past projects include construction of animal shelters, park benches, bird habitats and display cabinets.Wood working skills are desired but not required. We work as a team and welcome the opportunity to train interested volunteers. The woodshop is open Wednesday mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and beginning in January 2026, Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
