Red Shouldered Hawk - Every March 23, I put two totally biodegradable roses in a park to honor my parents (my mom passed away on March 23, 2007) who loved walking through our American wilderness. It has to be a park I think they would enjoy hiking. This year I chose Kinder Farm Park. I found a wonderfully wild spot between the perimeter path and Bunk’s Pond. As we left and returned to the perimeter path, we saw this hawk, letting us know we had made the right choice by Mirjan Spaar
