Tobacco Barn Museum

This museum contains many large pieces of farm equipment, including a tobacco planter, grain cleaner, and an antique chicken brooder. Display cases contain a variety of farming implements.

The Tobacco Barn Museum is open to park visitors during the following hours:

  • Monday, Wednesday through Friday: 9 AM – 4 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 10 AM – 3 PM

The Museum is closed in inclement weather.

The Kinder Farm Park staff and volunteers worked together to create this museum. Rangers developed the plans, cleared the floor space of the barn and organized all the farm equipment. Members of the Kinder Farm Park Sawmill Club milled boards for an ADA accessible boardwalk in the building. Several Boy Scouts installed the boardwalks to complete their Eagle Scout service projects.
